After appearing in the autumn of 2005, PAN.OPTIKUM gives guest performances for the second time at Latin America’s famous Zacatecas and Guanajuato Festivals. A total of six performances of the Spanish-Mexican version of BallGefühl, a production originally developed for the Football World Cup 2006, will be shown.

Educational pilot projects over the last few years led to a large-scale interdisciplinary project entitled BEING TWEEN in 2007, which involved very different types of schools in the region of Freiburg, Germany, and for which PAN.OPTIKUM won the culture prize at the 2008 “MIXED UP” awards (a Federal German competition for co-operation between culture and schools).

Meanwhile, PAN.OPTIKUM has developed comprehensive, interdisciplinary theatre projects, working on site in co-operation with teachers and students. These projects surpass by far the scope of standard school theatre performances of the past:
