In co-operation with the artist PETER ZIZKA, Frankfurt/M., PAN.OPTIKUM is currently working on another art project, this time on the subject of small arms.

Under the title SYMBIOSIS, weapons which have been rendered unusable are collected and imported from areas of conflict such as Cambodia, Congo and the Favelas of Brazil; each aesthetic object consists of two weapons joined to form an item which, although alienated by means of colour, does not deny its origins. It reinforces ambivalence toward such objects without “objectifying” them.
