The basis of the project is the creation of a play derived from the text “RISK” by John Retallack. Pupils of the 8th form of Angell-Zentrum together with pupils from the 6th form of the Esther-Weber-looked into the issue of why young people feel drawn to risk, and why it is essential for survival to recognise one’s own limits and opportunities and be able to properly assess and deal with risk.

Under the instruction of experienced theatre experts, the young people were given insight into their different life situations. The pupils visited each other at their respective schools.

In addition, they experienced intensive participation in theatre work, in terms of acting as well with regard to creating the set, props and costume design including the craftsmanship involved.
