LARGE-SCALE FORMATS

Staged for urban squares, industrial halls, or arenas with several thousand spectators, large-scale productions are a hallmark of Aktionstheater PAN.OPTIKUM. These works combine spectacular visual language with live music, dance, and politically engaged theatre to create immersive experiences in public space.

Such productions have taken PAN.OPTIKUM to some of the world’s leading international festivals, including: Festival Iberoamericano in Bogotá, FITS Sibiu/Hermannstadt, Kunstfest Weimar, Ruhrtriennale, Les Nuits de Fourvière in Lyon, Teatro a Mil in Santiago de Chile, Sziget in Budapest, Chalons dans la Rue, Glastonbury Festival, Passage Festival in Helsingør, Cervantino Festival in Mexico, and Perth Festival of the Arts – in total, to more than 28 countries worldwide.
