DANCE PRODUCTIONS
Since our commissioned work for the international Brass Festival in Durham (2011), the artistic focus of PAN.OPTIKUM has increasingly shifted toward dance. Urban dance has become a key element without being bound to any one style.
Instead, we continuously explore and expand the boundaries of genre and movement: by consciously blending different dance languages and experimenting with new stage formats and forms of presentation.
Examples of this development include: Empreinte, Sacre, FACE T(W)O, human (f)actor, Romeo.feat.Julia.
These productions exemplify a dynamic, process-oriented approach to dance that moves between choreographic precision and performative openness.
