PARTICIPATORY

We believe in the power of encounter. Many of our projects are created in collaboration with people who become co-creators and active participants in the artistic process.

Each project sets a different focus:  Some formats place the collective process at the center. Personal stories and perspectives of the participants form the basis for multilayered, often deeply moving performances as seen in Heimat:en, Cambio or Risiko.

Other productions follow a clear artistic vision with professional standards, such as People Power Partnership (PPP), FieberHaft or Romeo feat. Julia.
Even here, the participants are a vital part of the process: through intensive rehearsals, creative labs and dramaturgical development. What counts is the shared passion for the adventure.

At the heart of all our participatory projects lies one central idea: the experience of agency. It makes art more alive and society more democratic.
